No Cheesy Smile

Every time I take Ryker's picture he gives this chin up, all teeth, annoying smile. I know he does it just to bug me because that's what he does best. Anyway today I took some pictures of him without him knowing and I needed to remind myself that he is somewhat of a handsome boy.

Dinner @ the Gregersens!

wrong order but Demi was good at doing this

Eating our yummydessert.

I love their view of the mountains.

Today we were invited to dinner at Jake and Abbie's. It was a delicious meal! She made awesome pasta, bread and salad and a dreamy dessert. After dinner we played a few games at their home and then went to the tennis courts to learn a game called Pickle Ball. We had a great time. Jake is always so patient in teaching the A.D.D. family new games. We all enjoyed it and can't wait to play again.

Decisions!!!

Cute kitchen stuff we found at Target!

Demi & I went shopping ALL day today looking for everything she will need for her apartment in St. George. As I have said, she can't easily make decisions. After about 13 stores we finally found the bedding she was imagining in her pretty little head. We also met up with Jake & Abbs for some 5 Guys (my favorite) and a movie. We had a great day and got a lot done for Demi to leave in a few weeks.

Pioneer Friends!

I really can't even put into words what our Trek experience was like. There was an incredible spirit the entire time. Dean was a captain and had 7 families in his company. I served on the support staff and worked with the activities committee. We loved the youth of our stake, they were so amazing. We have a great love for all of the adults who worked so hard and had a huge responsibility of putting on this awesome adventure. I hope the great spirit of Trek lasts a long time for all those involved!

Last Baseball Game of the Season

Kasen lost his playoff game in a heart 6-7 heart breaker. They would have loved to go to the tournament of champions but were thrilled with such a great season. We have a few weeks off and then it's our favorite time of year......FOOTBALL!

22 Years.... My Only One!

When Dean and I got engaged we decided our song was "You Are My Only One" by James Taylor. On July 8th we had our 22nd anniversary. Wow that seems like a LONG time. The night of our anniversary we had TREK meetings so we couldn't go celebrate but Dean sent me these roses. They are beautiful!!! We decided we would take Friday off and head to Salt Lake for a fun day away. We first went to a yummy Italian lunch and then headed to Gateway. We shopped around and found some fun stuff we both needed, I mean wanted! We then went to the coolest place called "NAILED" where we had side by side pedicures. Yes, my manly guy had his feet done! He kept saying "don't tell the guys at work about this" He loved every minute of it. Afterwards we were of course hungry again, heck it had been like 5 hours since lunch, so we had dinner at the most awesome restaurant called "The New Yorker". It was such good food. We then came home and spent the rest of the night cuddled on our bed watching a movie with our kids. The perfect anniversary celebration! Demi stole my camera or I would have had some great pictures of Dean having is toes filed!

A Great Day!

We decided that the beehive class needed a special activity since they don't get to go on Trek until they are 14. Marla came up with a Temple tour, baptism day. We started at 8 am, picked up 5 darling beehives and headed to South Jordon to the Oquarhh Mountian Temple. We gave the girls temple journals to write in while we traveled. Marla had fun facts about each of the temples we were visiting. When we arrived at our first temple I could tell the girls were so excited. The new Oquarhh Temple is beautiful. We did confirmations and baptisms. It was a great experience for the girls and for us as leaders. We then left for Salt Lake Temple Square. We took fun pictures, learned about the temple and had lunch at the Lion House. We then headed for Bountiful Temple were we did more baptisms. It was a great day. I hope the girls enjoyed this AWESOME day! (We missed Kim..... she was on a family vacation).
