Abbie's gift to Jake

Each year for Valentines Jake & Abbie do a homemade gift to each other.  This year I helped Abbie make this chandelier out of pages in a book.  We fan folded about 100 pages and made them into pinwheels.  Then attached them with wire and ribbon.  Abbie then decorated it with darling pictures of the cute couple.  It turned out so fun!

Zumba and The Biggest Looser

Lynette's first coke in 5 weeks!

150 pds was lost by our entire group!

1st, 2nd and 3rd place guys!

Couldn't wait to spend our winnings!

A bunch of ladies 21 to be exact and 6 guys participated in a biggest looser contest.  It was a 5 week contest with different challenges each week.  We received points for doing challenges and  exercises, extra for attending zumba class. Dean and I did it together which made it much more fun.  Both of us finished in 2nd place....we were proud of our weight loss but even more proud of how hard we worked out and stuck to the diet.  Dean even attended Zumba 4 times a week which I have to admit was so fun to watch. Our celebration awards night was held at 5 Guys...... we were all craving burgars and fries! I'm glad it's over and sad to say really enjoying the cookies!  Hopefully I can keep off most of my love handles.

Felt Good To Feel Normal

Two days before Sandi's last chemo treatment Sandi, Jake and myself spent the day in Salt Lake.  We had the most wonderful time.  I am so mad that I didn't take more pictures but these four I love.  Sandi pulled off the wig and we tried on headbands and laughed at her "baby head".  I love the one of Jake holding the wig!
I was so grateful that she had enough energy to go out and spend the day with me.  Even if she was feeling like crapola she never complained.  We shopped and shopped and had a yummy lunch at cheesecake factory.  When I thanked Jake for going he explained it best "it felt good to feel normal".
I love you Sandi and Jake! Thank you for the best day ever!
