Darling Peanut Ivy

I'm not sure where the summer went but it's bowling time already! Thursday was our first day back. We have some new ladies like Kristy Miles who is going to totally carry Kim's team and with Kim on their team they need it! It was a fun time and I 'm excited for another year. Check out the picture of my beautiful mom who is sporting some cleavage! She's a hot mama and a dang good bowler too!

a BIG day!

Ryker #49

Looking a little discouraged!

Yesterday was a big day for us at the Garrett home. It was Ryker's first High School Football game. He asked for a ride to school so that we could stop at McD's for some extra protein. Their game was at Davis High, might as well start with the biggest, toughest team in the district! They had their butt's kicked hard but I still loved seeing my son down on the field, looking so great in his green & white uniform and ready to hit some pads! He had some great plays and did really well. It might be a long season for the Falcon Sophomore team but he is going to have a great time playing (I hope)!

My Friends From Way Back When

Today I went to lunch with three of my friends from high school. It was so good to see them. We have all hit a new time in our lives. Amy and Lisa's sons left on missions this year, Linda and I just sent daughters off to college and I have a married daughter. We had a great time laughing, crying and visiting about life!

A Beautiful Night On the Lake

In our Beehive class on Sunday Kim was teaching us about appreciating God's creations. Last night on the lake I noticed how beautiful everything was. I am always trying to convince Dean to go to Pine View instead of Willard. I tell him that Willard is ugly and there is no scenery, he hates fighting the crowds at Pine Vine. Last night Willard Bay was beautiful!!!

Dixie State

Grandma was a huge help!

I will miss my girl!
This week I took my girl to Dixie State. Grandma Roma and I followed her down and we went straight to her new place. She was so excited and nervous. We got to work right away, we unloaded everything (105 degrees) and started setting things up. The next day we went shopping for groceries and a few odds & ends. We spent the rest of the day setting up her computer, printer and organizing all of her clothes. Her roommates are adorable. They seem to love each other already. They have been playing hard until early morning. I thought that Demi being the anti-social one might struggle a bit but she was practically pushing grandma and I out the door. I am so excited for her. I hope she makes this a great experience and enjoys every minute of college life!

FOOTBALL!!!!

I love this game! Everything about it! It started when I was 10 yrs. old and my Grandpa & Grandma Hill would take us to BYU's games. I wanted to know all the rules, all the players names and positions and I even enjoyed listening to Paul James post game all the way home from Provo. Kind of weird I know, most wouldn't take me for the football type! Now I get to watch my two boys play and I love every minute of it. Most people think I went to High School football games to watch my girls dance and cheer, which I did, but really I just love being there!

Ryker is a now a sophomore and is playing at CHS. Thursday is his first game and I can't wait

Kasen played his first game on Saturday and they won 37-7! Their defense didn't allow a first down the entire game. Kasen scored a TD and played great. Coach Dean was so relieved to get the first game jitters over. Coach Ryker ( the defense coach) was out of town having one boating trip before school starts.

My friend who loves football as much as I do posted this awesome video titled "The Boy's of Fall" by Kenny Chesney. I loved it and so did Dean and the boys.

Neighbors Say Goodbye

Our cute neighbors and friends had a little going way party for Demi. We went to Jardine's and we all roasted marshmallow's and made smore's. It was a fun night, especially for Demi. She made a comment that she felt loved! We will all miss her at Dixie. I am leaving tomorrow for St. George to help her get all set up

Good thing I love my Kimberly....... we were sleepin close!

Micheal Jardine had a great surprise birthday party for Tonia. He invited 9 couples to meet himself and Tonia in Park City at the restaurant ZOOM. We had a fun dinner and then caravaned up in the mountains to a great cabin. We played games, had treats and stayed up late laughing our heads off. Four of the couples slept together in a loft upstairs. We stayed up until 3:30 am. We had the best time! Mike made us a yummy breakfast and than we headed home. It was so much fun. I love Tonia's birthdays.....the Jardines really know how to party.
